We collect information you provide when creating an account (email address, display name), content you create (recipes, photos, messages), and basic usage data to improve the service.

We use your information to provide and improve MyRecipe, send you notifications about activity on your recipes, respond to support requests, and ensure the security of our service.

Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase (Firestore, Authentication, and Storage). Firebase is compliant with GDPR and other major privacy regulations.

We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties. Recipes you mark as public are visible to all users of the app. Private recipes are only visible to you.

With your permission, we send push notifications for new messages and app updates. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.

When you use AI features (photo analysis, text extraction), the content you submit is processed by Google's Gemini AI. This processing is subject to Google's privacy policy.

You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time from the Settings screen. Upon deletion, your personal data and private recipes are permanently removed.

MyRecipe is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the app or email.
